Dear Lorraine,
Thank you for what turned out to be the best holiday I've experienced to date whilst travelling on my own. To all reading this I would like to encourage you to book through Lorraine, I contacted Lorraine a year previous to my holiday and told her exactly what I wanted to do and see in 2 weeks in S. Africa/Mozambique involving Great White Shark Diving, Safari in Kruger & swimming with Whale Sharks. Through out that year I chopped and changed everything Lorraine had emailed me back until it suited me perfectly with absolutely no hassle or difficulty from her. All I had to do was book my flights, Lorraine did the rest! Even got me in contact with a local photographer to give me tips on photographing game.
Every Hotel I arrived in, Lorraine rang my room to insure I was happy, and if not she would ring the reception desk and insure I was satisfied, (though this only happened once in Johannesburg). Everywhere else was of very high standard. In fact, higher then I am used to, but I didn't mind! Everything was organised and waiting for me everywhere I arrived.
The constant contact was something I would not have gotten had I booked this through a travel agent in Ireland, plus I would have had to pay probably 1000 extra also!! What especially satisfied me was on my return from Mozambique, the flight was delayed which made me miss my return flight home. I was stranded in Johannesburg late at night, very tired, with no airline desks open and no where to go! One SMS message to Lorraine and within the hour she had arranged for me to be picked up, dropped to a Guest house nearby (a beautiful one at that I must add, and the poor owner had to get up at 1am to let me in!!) and then dropped back to the airport the following morning and also is in the process of arranging me getting a refund due to all this being the airlines fault. I have never heard of a travel agency that would go to so much trouble, especially since it was my last night, and Lorraine was not obliged to help me out. But these things happen on holidays, lost luggage, missed flights and stuff, and they all add to the experience, but it would not have been such an experience if I hadn't have booked with Top Tours Africa.
Anyone flicking through websites looking to book an African holiday.... stop where you are! You've found a winner!

 I learned to dive here and many of the people I dived with were very experienced  they all agreed that it was the best diving they had ever seen. Better than the Red Sea, better than Australia... the best. The diving possibilities are almost limitless. There are beautiful calm, incredibly bright lagoons. Coral reefs abound within 300 m to 3000+ metres off the shore in all directions. The weather is irrationally gorgeous and visibility was virtually unlimited even at 30 m. Tropical, aquatic life abounds including blue spotted rays, crocodile fish, whales and sharks (even great whites). I saw four 1-4 metre rays in one 24 min. dive. The coral is spectacular and varied with many arches and tunnels and caves for those who like to play. As if that wasn't enough, it is probably some of the cheapest diving in the world. I got 7 dives and NAUI certification for less than a quarter of what it would have cost me in the US

"Mozambique was everything we could have hoped for and the teams at Barra and Pomene were terrific. The diving was excellent, the vis was a bit down but it did mean that we saw a huge variety of marine life coming in to feed on the bountiful plankton including a sailfish whilst doing a safety stop at the end of a dive at Pomene! Our flights, etc all worked perfectly unlike another couple we met there (they had booked through another agent!) who's internal tickets had not materialised so they had to pay again for their flights - needless to say we were singing your praises! ... I know it's a little late but rather late than never...
Just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for all your help with the booking of our cruise, etc.
We had an absolute awesome time and can't wait to go again. They made it really special for us and we have the most beautiful memories.

Hi Lorraine
It was the best holiday I have ever had.
Paul(the owner) was unbelievable, he was a great host.His staff were exceptionally good.
The food was excellent
The weather was great because we had the heat, the rain and the wind all in one week which was a good experience.
I would like to book again but next time for my kids as well.
The only thing that bothered me was the mozzies, I would love a room with aircon and windows that close.
However all the positives outweigh the negative by miles so all in all it was a great holiday

Hi there,
Guinjatabay was amazing – service, facilities, activities 10 out of 10!!
One thing though – please ask them not to take the Baraca’s away – nice to camp there not everybody wants to stay in a chalets.
Would go again anytime
